In-N-Out Prices by State
In-N-Out prices are regional — the same Double-Double can cost 70¢ more in Los Angeles than in Boise. These are typical prices checked October 21, 2026; your exact store may differ by a few cents.
| State | Double-Double | Hamburger | Cheeseburger | Fries | #1 Combo (est.) |

Cheapest states
Idaho, Utah and Texas consistently price the core menu lowest. If you are road-tripping, the same meal that costs about $11.30 in California runs closer to $10.45 in Idaho.
Priciest states
Washington (the newest market) and California sit at the top of the table. Even so, a Double-Double under $6.50 keeps In-N-Out well below most rival chains' equivalent burgers.
Why Prices Differ by State
In-N-Out prices regionally, and the pattern follows store costs more than anything exotic: wages, rent and the distance from the nearest distribution centre. The chain's supply chain is deliberately short — beef travels fresh from a small number of company facilities — so a store in Idaho, with lower operating costs and efficient routes, can hold a Double-Double at about $5.75, while a store in Washington, at the far edge of the network, sits nearer $6.45. California, the home market, lands in between at roughly $6.35 despite its high costs, helped by sheer store density.
How Prices Change Over Time
In-N-Out raises prices quietly and infrequently — typically small, once-a-year adjustments rather than headline jumps, and never with a press release. Because the company publishes nothing, the only honest way to track the menu is to re-check it, which is why every table on this site carries its check date. When a raise lands, the state tables here are updated together so the comparisons stay true. Even at the top of the table, the value story holds: a full combo in the most expensive state still costs less than a lone premium burger at most rival chains.
Method: typical prices cross-checked across delivery-platform listings, in-store menu photos and menu trackers, October 21, 2026. In-N-Out does not publish an official price list.
